Today's Tip for Cat Children of Human People (CaCHups): Humans need to talk to get their point across. Kitties can communicate with a look and a head butt and a purrupt or meow or two. Humans not so much; poor things. So you are probably going to have to learn a few human words to get along because they just aren't smart enough to understand everything we say. If you stare at them long enough when they are babbling their blabbety-blabbety language, they usually point at what they are trying to get you to do, eat, avoid or use...but I have found these words to be worth learning "Yums" that is food. "Lap" that is when they sit and offer a nice place to rest. "Box" that is the sandy place good for burying doodies. "Sleeps" is when they close their eyes and stop bugging you about stuff. "Treats" are really good "Yums." and "Toys" are fluffy or feathery things that are fun to chase. That's all you need to know, really. Humans are pretty simple to take care of.
