Daddy Tim decided it was time to expand our horizons. So instead of cat books, he brought home COW books. (Daddy Trent loves cows...as friends not food. Daddy Tim thought we should meet some cows in books). Daddy Tim told me I could read this one by myself--he's a big joker. There's only one word in it "Moo" which is apparently the sound a cow makes. |
I think this is a very funny book and little humans would probably agree. The cartoon illustrations of the happy cow with their thick brown lines are really cute. Mike Wohnoutka who drew them should draw some cat books! Cows shouldn't drive even if their hooves reach the pedals. Cats would probably be better drivers we can grip the wheel with our claws...but our paws can't reach the floor. Maybe if Banjo laid on the pedals--Daddy Tim is shaking his head.
I like Cow week too. Cows look like nice people. Daddy Tim says they are where milk comes from and that means they make cheese too. Talented animals! No wonder Daddy Trent like them so much...they make his favorite food group: cheese!
Today's Tip for Cat Children of Human People (CaCHuPs): Sometimes your human will tell you "no." They think they are the boss of you, but you really only need to take it as a suggestion. If you want to do something or eat something and they say no, just wait until they are out of the room and try again. Or better yet, if you think they MIGHT say no, wait until they are out of the room before your first try. Some of my most fun adventures happen when a Daddy's back is turned. I learned the roll of paper next to their litter box is fun to spin while they weren't looking, and I know they would have said "no" if they had been in the room. So sometimes, CaCHuPs, "no" can mean "yes it would be fun, but I'd rather you didn't"
(Daddy Tim discovered he had read a big boy book by the same author: "Absolutely Positively Not" which was very funny...AND he shares a birthday with the author. Neat!)
