Taking another short break from youth oriented materials and in this instance books, these are the Cds I listen to enough to drive other people insane (especially when I sing along which has been compared to industrial noise, angry frogs and songbirds...in a blender). I have most, if not all, of the musical releases for these artists. · Cheapness & Beauty by Boy George · What Might Be by Mare Winningham · Grace/Every Hue and Shade by Grace Griffith · Secrets of the Beehive by David Sylvian · The Dreaming by Kate Bush · Savage by The Eurythmics · Mechanical Animals by Marilyn Manson · Jane Siberry by Jane Siberry · True Stories by Judy Collins · Whatever by Aimee Mann So there's the list. It was difficult to pick and I had to leave a lot out. "Snakehouse" by The Cliks, "Sound of Music" by Pizzacato Five, "Lungs" by Florence and the Machine, "Sprito Divino" by Zucchero Fornaciari, "Concrete Animals" by Shonen Knife, "What a Life" by the Divinyls, "Loose Screw" by the Pretenders, "The Stars We Are" by Marc Almond...I could go on and on. "Arkansas Traveler" by Michelle Shocked would have actually made the top ten if she hadn't gone all whack-a-doodle. |
